garde723There are many gods in the land where the sun is born. Some never gain fame and fade, some gain fame through direct action, and then there are some that gain fame simply because there is need. Izana is one such as this. Sprung into being decades ago, they are a new god and in their care are all those who are not comfortable in their bodies. Often this is those who would be called transgender, but not always.
The majority of Izana's beseechers are teens and Izana fights the youkai who would prey on their emotional turmoil. Word of Izana has spread and now they even have a place in heaven, though they are rarely there. They care more for protecting their charges you see.
This AU is based on the Noragami anime/manga. Their weapon is the yumi and a tanto blade for close quarters. They dress in the attire typical of a Japanese high school student with the addition of the tools of archery.
